Search for missing person

Whilst the lifeboat was out helping to welcome the Celtic Challenge rowers safely back into Aberystwyth, they received a tasking from the Coastguard to assist in a search for a missing person.

The lifeboat was diverted from its exercise and asked to carry out a search of the shore North of Aberystwyth. With nothing found after an hour the lifeboat was released and returned to the Celtic Challenge arrivals.
