Continued search for missing person

Both boats were launched to go and assist with the ongoing search for a missing person.

After the search in the early hours of the morning, the police had again requested that both boats launch and search between Aberystwyth and Clarach. 1 crew member was put ashore to do a detailed search of the beach and caves at the bottom of the cliffs, whilst the boats searched from the sea. Nothing and no one was found so both boats were stood down.

 

The following day the Dyfed Powys Police announced that the missing person had been found safe.
