I joined the crew whilst I was a student at Aberystwyth University. I was sitting in a cafe with a friend opposite the pier and we saw the sign for the station and thought it would be nice to give something back to the community, so went for a walk to the station which by chance had the mechanic in at the time. He suggested we came back on the Sunday which we did and the rest is history.
I served as crew for 5 years, then had to retire due to medical issues. Im now the Tractor driver and Press officer.
