Inflatable tender assisted

Lifeboat crew were paged to go and assist a small inflatable tender which was suffering from engine issues about half a mile off the harbour entrance.

The crew quickly launched the boat and arrived on scene next to the casualty vessel. The owner was taken aboard and so was the inflatable tender. Both were quickly returned to the station and recovered onto the launching carriage.

The occupant had injured a finger and after being looked over in the lifeboat station was taken to hospital for precautions.
