Launched to two people cut off by the tide on Constitution Hill

Aberystwyth Lifeboat and Aberystwyth IRB (Inshore Rescue Boat) was launched to two people cut off by the tide on Constitution Hill, Borth ILB (Inshore Lifeboat) was also launched to assist.

Aberystwyth Coastguard deployed their cliff rescue team and identified the causalities location and lowered a Coastguard cliff officer to the casualties, who were now trapped climbing up the hill. An RAF Sea King helicopter, Rescue 122 winched out both of the casualties and the Coastguard cliff officer, dropping them on the top of the hill to the waiting Coastguard. All lifeboats were stood down and returned to their respective stations.
